The Bureau of Land Management will host a wild horse and burro placement event, offering a limited number of excess animals gathered from western rangelands, June 13-14, 2025, at the Meadow Event Park in Doswell, Virginia.

Approximately 60 animals are expected to be available for adoption at the event, which will be open to the public June 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and June 14 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The event will host a live auction beginning at 11:00 a.m. on June 13, followed by first come first serve adoptions.
